ORB’s licensing relationships allowed me to create so many great designs and paintings in their seller categories of Superhero or Science Fiction properties. These licensed pieces use in part some provided artwork from the Disney, Marvel, or DC style guides, which were then embellished or manipulated to elevate the designs for decor. Many of the works below have sold nationally in Hobby Lobby, Hot Topic, and Spirit Halloween. The more painterly pieces are digitally painted in Photoshop using Star Wars/Disney assets as inspiration.
Please note, the Star Wars shelves were developed in concept for a Target campaign meant to launch alongside Star Wars Galaxy Edge theme park and were sadly not carried to completion. I love including them because being able to pull from those assets as the theme park wasn’t even open was such a great sneak peak and so much fun to design.
