Design & Illustration
Free state wanted a very specific illustrative design for one of their new releases a few years ago. As many Kansas designs focus around the state motto “Ad Astra Per Aspera” (To the Stars Through Difficulties), my concept was a blend of the owner’s wish for a tandem bike image, and cycling through the galaxy. I also genuinely loved the taste of this beer when the first batch came out.
